Approvals set for Board Meeting Tonight
Such a tiny school and we have 2 principals AND an assistant principal in the secondary building. Is it absolutely necessary to spend more of our money hiring a DEAN OF STUDENTS? Do we have such an abundance of disciplinary problems here?.

DeleteToo many chiefs with big salaries. In Mt Sinai (much larger) the Athletic director is also in charge of buildings and grounds. What does our athletic director do all day long??

DeleteIt's not misleading, who do you think is going to take over the duties that the librarian was doing? Another person! It's more than just a stipend!

ReplyDeleteFinally they are setting policy re- "social media" issues ie- teachers inappropriate facebook pages/pictures that have no privacy and friending students and parents. Where is the common sense here? Stop posting pictures of yourself drinking and in scant articles of clothing like bikinis if you are a teacher and you have not put on privacy stops. It is plain stupid.
ReplyDeleteAnd board members should also set policies about teachers/staff privately or individalually texting students. They are minors. It is for the safety of both. You are not their friend, you are their teacher. ACT IT! In class and out of class. They dont need to hear about your "weekend escapades". They need you to stop the nonsense and start teaching like a grown up.
All schools have problem students! Call Dr. Bossert if you have questions. Don't rely on misleading information to make judgements!

ReplyDeleteNothing at all has changed in a few of these classrooms. Even the students are now starting to complain about the lazy teachers who dont teach. I asked a few of them just last night why they dont go to the principal and tell him what is going on. Their answer? "What for? They wont do anything about it."

ReplyDeleteWhat exactly will he do? Will he go into the classroom and sit observe how nothing is going on in these classrooms and then put a little pressure on these lazy teachers? Cuz there is no pressure yet!!!!

Nobody's complaining but why are we paying for additional administrators when we supposedly hired these two hot shot principals?
